Galaxy S20 FE 5G Ares Clear Rugged Case - Lila

I had this case on my phone since 2021. It mostly has protected my phone very well, the screen is still completely pristine so I'm happy with that. It's not as good at keeping out sand grains and grit though, and many have gotten in the back and left pits in the soft plastic part of the phone. So it needs pretty regular disassembly and cleaning to work well; I would say once a week at least and then extra any time you know you've exposed your phone to dirt/sand.

I just replaced the old case and even though the new case is also clear, the pits on the back are much less noticeable with a new case on that doesn't have the corresponding marks. If you're going to use this case and want to keep it looking nice as well as your phone, you probably will need to replace it annually instead of after 3 years like I did.

I am on my 3rd year with this case . I gave 5 stars even though I have one complaint, because this product absolutely does what it's supposed to, and that is to protect my phone from damage/ breakage. I honestly had no expectations that it would deliver the way it has when I first received it, but was amazed, that after having hard dropped my phone on cement surfaces three different times thinking for sure on each occasion that my device had cracked, to find it hadn't. My only complaint is the same as a number of people referred to in their review about the plastic cover easily scratching, and the only reason I am re-ordering a new one. I wish the company would just give us the option to buy it separately.

Durable, it's more than 3 years now.

Great drop protection but scratches easily

This is the second one I bought. The first one I had for about a year and the screen protector scratched easy.
