Ive dropped my flip 7 multiple times on everything from concrete to marble from 3ft+and this case has always protected it. Final time it dropped on asphalt and cracked the outer protective screen which was understandable. Took the cover off and the phone screen didnt have one scratch or crack. Didn't hesitate to order a replacement.

So far so good! I like the hinge cover design feature for my Samsung Flip. It isn't a perfect seal but it allows me to open it and wipe away small particles that migrate in before I open the phone. The phone spends a lot of time in my pocket and on a farm pocket debris is unavoidable. The built in stand works both vertically and horizontally but the phone is slightly lopsided in horizontal view due to my favorite feature, the hinge cover. It's a small price to pay.
