I was one of the people that put the case on without following the instructions and of course the fingerprint reader didn't work. I bit the bullet, bought a second case and now it works after following the instructions. These cases are both stylish and super tough. I'm very happy.

Fingerprint scanner stopped working
I really love this case for the colour and the fact that it's front and back so I don't have to worry about the actual phone getting scratched and I chose it because the last iBlason case I had was spot on. Despite reading about problems using the fingerprint scanner with this case I bought it anyway and was pleased to find, after several attempts to set it up, I got the scanner working by registering my fingerprint with the case on. However after 4 months use I cleaned the inside of the case (as somehow dust seems to get in), just with a slightly damp cloth and drying it before putting the case back on and now the fingerprint scanner no longer works. I've tried deleting and re-registering my fingerprint but no luck. I'm really disappointed and will now have to find a different case.
