iPhone 12 Pro Max Ares Case - Red

An easy to fit phone protection case. Looks and feels good. Good value.

The two features I was looking for in an iPhone case were a clear back and one with material that could be gripped on the sides to help prevent slipping and dropping. This case has both. It also has a built in clear protective screen cover. The touch reaction is not impaired by the screen protector, and the clear back allows the true phone color to show through. The blue case accents the blue phone. There is a cover for the charging port that is a little "tight", but I imagine it will loosen with time. The camera seems adequately protected. The case was easy to assemble even for me. Be sure to clean the front and back of your phone before inserting it into the case. This case is a very good value.

It’s too thick and the screen cover is not high quality

It’s an ok case. I’m used to using one with a front cover/flap, so it’s nice to be able to see more of the phone. But my old case didn’t show the dirt! This literally gets mega greasy on the back cover. The other annoying thing is the flappy rubber bit that covers the charging port. No idea why it’s needed. I have to fight it every time I charge my phone. So annoying that I ended up buying a wireless charger! So I can confirm it works perfectly well with a wireless charger too.I also would not combine that light blue with the dark blue. I think they clash. If the light blue bits actually serve a purpose, they should’ve been same colour as the rubber. Or if just decorative, I’d remove them and show even more of the phone. It’s a good colour match for the Apple 12 pro max pacific blue phone.That being said, I looked at quite a few phone cases to replace my old skinhive and this one’s not too bad. When I popped it on and weren’t yet sure if I was going to keep it, I didn’t remove the screen protector I already had on. Closed the case and left it like that, works perfectly with two layers of screen protection.
